CRUMBLING ROADS PARABLE SUBSCRIBE
PARABLE:
Torrential
rains washed out parts of roads. Last week, school buses had to wait for
oncoming traffic in their lane- other lane under water. Drivers COULD have chosen to take a different route -- one that was NOT eroding. That would not possibly crumble as they drove over it.
But no...
the safe roads required more distance, more time.
So they choose to take the risk... to just assume
"I'm fine, nothing will happen."
He shares how, as a pastor, he mourns that
"scores of people who sit before me on a Sunday morning might think they are saved when they are not. Scores of people have positioned their lives on a RELIGIOUS ROAD that makes grandiose promises at MINIMUM COST... Much of modern evangelism today is built on leading people down this road, and crowds flock to it,------ but in the end it is a road built on sinking sand." [emphasis added, book c2010]
What does LORD God say ??
John 3:16 is almost never quoted with verse 18: “He who believes in [Jesus] is not condemned; but
he who does NOT believe IS CONDEMNED ALREADY..."

even demons believe IN God.
