PARABLE:
A
famous band was on Beach Stage. Huge festival crowd excitedly watched,
danced, sang along. But... a little boy was excitedly focused on a
treasure he found in the sand:
A special rock.
His parents looked at each other & shrugged.
I turned my head away so they wouldn't see me laughing.
I've always loved that CALVIN & HOBBES exemplified the title of
Bill Watterson's book: THERE'S TREASURE EVERYWHERE.
Romans 1-- we just look & see God's Treasures:
A weed as detailed as an orchid, a chirping red robin,
sparkling mica chips like diamonds on the rock...
What does LORD God say ?? ROMANS 1: 16 on

people think growing up means calling Nature's miracles "ordinary"-- "It's just a rock".Romans 1-- we just look & see God's Treasures:

What does LORD God say ?? ROMANS 1: 16 on
18 For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and

invisible attributes are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made,
even His eternal power and Godhead,

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who
exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the
creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
