It is
*SO* cool to have an ALL ACCESS pass
hanging around your neck at big music festivals!
The huge burly guards see you coming and Quit frowning,
but Smile wide as you walk past them to go backstage.
Tech crew members nod greetings to you.
After a band's concert, you can chat with band members in their
private lounge/ practice area-- like friends!
SO WHAT ??
Compare to God's stringent Laws (punishment was instant Death) in Leviticus 16...
Everyone except the high priest ONCE a year were 'peons'
who dared not even 'walk onstage', much less
go back behind the Tabernacle's or (later) Temple's Curtain to be
right there in God's Holy Presence --
NO WAY God allowed this by sin-filled persons !
What does LORD God say ??
....... ENTER JESUS, GOD'S SON, JESUS:
On the cross He paid the
impossible- for- anyone- else-to-pay
perfect sacrifice price
for an ALL ACCESS PASS to God--- a
AND JESUS HOLDS IT OUT to you... to each person:
24/7 ability to enter God's presence and talk with Him as a friend--- but only if you reach out
and accept the gift of His ALL ACCESS PASS
as you agree to follow Jesus --
who after all is the only High Priest ever to be the Way to God.
LOGICAL since He IS God........ see Isaiah 9:6 and John 10:10.
Jesus who paid for your ALL ACCESS
so that God ripped down the curtain between Him and you.
