Since CHRISTmas is now only 3 months away,
I'm building onto that Pinterest board some more now...

Seeing hundreds of gift ideas.
But I've gotta say, one of them really puzzles me:
People who ask for (& get) for their holiday gifts a gun or rifle..
Doesn't seen to quite fit
the real purpose
of the celebration of the Prince of Peace's Birthday,
now, does it?
Despite the popularity of the classic movie "A Christmas Story" and
Ralphie's burning dream for a Red Ryder air rifle - asked for about 28 times! ;}
SO WHAT ??
Like it or not: -- God repeatedly says to forgive enemies & leave Judgment to Him.
Even Jesus said to DISCERN evil but not judge a person as worthy of hell.
Like it or not -- Jesus said just HATING people broke God's commandment to not kill.
Like it or not-- Jesus said GOD WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU or me
no matter how nice we ask or act
if we refuse to forgive others.
Like it or not-- Jesus said it repeatedly - see verse AFTER the Lord's Prayer
of "Forgive us our trespasses / sins" ... CLICK HERE FOR LINK to
MANY of Jesus's promise of UN-FORGIVENESS if we won't forgive.
What does LORD God say ??
Yet, Jesus DOES mention buying sword for Self Defense:
Luke 22: 36 (Click for link) -- Yet Peter still misunderstood - John 18 - and
Jesus scolded him for attacking the soldier
who came to the garden to arrest Jesus according to their Law.
Recognizing that enemies would come against those going out on highways
as dangerous at the one the Good Samaritan was on when attacked
