GOOD EGGS MUST FLY SUBSCRIBE

PARABLE:
Psalm 46:10 > "Stillness" is a matter of the heart;
we can be "still" with God .....
while serving to help His hurting people. Or as James wrote in
2:17-20, "Faith without works is DEAD."
C.S. Lewis in "Mere Christianity"-- "It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad."
(sorta 1 Corinthians 3:1 on) ... We CANNOT just "ROT".
Which is what we, like old eggs, do if we refuse to
grow in God (knowledge) & Trust Him and FLY!
What does LORD God say ??
7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. SO WHAT ??
Plenty of people go to church EVERY Sunday, even SERVE in church,
give lots of money, are "nice" to people.... Sometimes doing a lot is NOT
learning to "fly with God" in faith... Matthew 25 - We also "go bad" and rot like old eggs if
everything we do is for selfish reasons.... like proudly trying to impress people - or God.
Prayer:
LORD help me to TRULY grow in faith, to TRULY serve you....
trusting You and learning "to fly" as You give me wisdom, strength, and empowering--
for YOUR Glory, not for mine.... Ephesians 3:20-21. I pray in LOVE for You.
