dropped... canceled.

to try to change the DUMB spelling of ~300 words. Mark Twain supported him but predicted failure.
Teddy Roosevelt loved idea:
Ordered govt offices & some newspapers to use new spellings like
THRU, YUNG, ENUF, TUF, & BIZNESS.
By 1915, Carnegie gave up:
Peple had enuf uv him gettin into thar bizness ... :)
SO WHAT ??
Cool parable: God NEVER changes.
A PEACE in knowing
(1) James 1:5 God helps us understand the rules; &
(2) God never changes the rules.
As the "Spelling Kings That Be" often do.
What does LORD God say ??
Malachi 3:6, QUOTING God-Named-YHWH (His name meaning "I AM"; Ex. 3:14, Isaiah 42:6)
"For I AM the LORD, I do not change..."
Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Prayer:
LORD God, I get SO confused sometimes, trying to remember all the RULES in Life
that matter to be obeyed by me... then realizing that people have CHANGED the rules.
Thank You so much that You do NOT change... The definition of Your FAITHFULNESS to em.
