PARABLE:
God created SO many Parables in His world of nature!
One great one: Ladybugs,
which are very good for plants & kill "bad stuff".....
YET: People are always confusing them with Asian beetles
which not only are destructive (vs ladybugs) but BITE.
Like Satan the deceiver...
What does LORD God say ??
Jesus in Matthew 24 (THREE TIMES),
"for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.'
They will deceive many."
11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
24
For false christs and false prophets will rise and
show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect (those
who have accepted Jesus as Savior).
SO WHAT ??
The LIST OF WEAPONS we have in Ephesians 6: TEN to END
is not a "what a Good Idea" list from God to protect us from Satan, who Jesus called a
DESTROYER who SEEKS TO DESTROY YOU.... John 10:10's first half.
Just SEEING that list should give us JOY to know that God CARES & will HELP.
But God will NOT FORCE us to put on
His Protection & Use His Sword,
which is His Word.... Scriptures that Satan HATES.
Prayer:
LORD it is SO amazing that You, the LORD of All, not only CARE about us, but offer us
Your PERSONAL weapons. Help me to remember that this is SERIOUS. Help me to remember
that SATAN DOES NOT WANT US TO BELIEVE IN GOD,
because our NEXT step would be to realize:
Aha! Thus SATAN must exist! I must put on God's Weapons & PRAY!
