God warns us of People & Satan all doing the same--
Matthew 6:13 + James 1:13-15 ... Surely God's hardest "job"
must be to teach us to THINK-- to NOT believe
all the Suggestions all around us, whispering
"POPULAR ITEM <why don't YOU try it? /
believe it.../ Look how many OTHER people do.....>"
What does LORD God say ??
Matthew 6:13, Jesus taught within THE LORD'S PRAYER:
"And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one."
James 1: 12-15 CLEARLY says that GOD DOES NOT TEMPT YOU.
12 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation.
Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
13 And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.”
God is never tempted to do wrong, & He never tempts anyone else.
14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.
15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
SO WHAT ??
PUT ON GOD'S ARMOR, clearly defined in Ephesians 6: 10-18.
STAY AWARE of the need.
GOD WARNS in First Peter 5:8.... Satan is a roaring lion who wants to DEVOUR you.
You cannot defeat even a little lion alone. RUN TO GOD! James 4:7-8
Prayer:
LORD it is SO amazing that You, the LORD of All, not only invite but yearn for us Each to "plug in" to restore our souls with You...
